Tatty's Tips and Racing News 30th September 2011

Well I said I must try harder and try harder I did - IN STYLE!

Safely over the last at Fontwell Park (image by nick macneill)
2 winners - Rampant Ronnie (4/1) and Argaum (5/2) at Bangor-on-Dee and Mrs Neat (12/1) came 3rd at Wolverhampton. But the best of all came last of all at Warwick, where Seaside Sizzler trotted home at 8/1.

A lot better you must agree, but I am still not happy. I want to beat those nasty, evil bookmakers into submission or even into oblivion!

So here we go with another lot for today. with meetings at Ascot, Fontwell, Hexham and again at Wolverhampton on this side of the Irish sea. Over in the Emerald isle we have Dundalk and Glorious Gowran Park.

ASCOT
3.30 MIDNIGHT OIL
FONTWELL PARK
3.15 GILDED AGE
4.25 WILLIAM HOGARTH
WOLVERHAMPTON
7.45 SHOSTAKOVICH
DUNDALK
9.00 NORTHGATE
GOWRAN PARK

Tatty's Tips and Racing News 29th September 2011

Oh dear - yesterday wasn't particularly the best day ever on the tipping front.

If you take out the 2 non-runners, the 4 remaining selections managed only a 4/1 second (Sharp Bullet - beaten by 4- 1/2 lengths) and a 10/1 third (Silvee).
The only comment I can make is that it's really not good enough and I must try harder.

So here we go for today's meetings at Bangor-on-Dee, Kempton Park, Warwick and Wonderful Wolverhampton.

A night meeting at Wolverhampton's Dunstall Park (image via M1keez)
BANGOR-ON-DEE
4.20 RAMPANT RONNIE
4.50 ARGAUM
WARWICK
5.10 SEASIDE SIZZLER
WOLVERHAMPTON
5.00 MRS NEAT
Hopefully there is a winner amongst this lot somewhere.

Tatty's Tips and Racing News 28th September 2011

Lafortalesa 1st ,Houston Dynimo 2nd and Woody Waller 3rd. Fighting out the finish of an exciting 1st race at Newcastle racecourse on the 30th October 2008.

To coincide with the new look of the blog, I thought I may go back to the days of tipping the odd horsey or two on a (hopefully) daily basis.

I'm not saying they are all going to win (or any of them if I'm honest), but all are worth consideration and keeping an eye on.

KEMPTON PARK
8.10 SILVEE
NEWCASTLE
4.20 JOHN FORBES - non runner
5.50 SHARP BULLET
SALISBURY
5.10 NOT TIL MONDAY - non runner
SLIGO
5.05 CODE OF THE WEST
6.05 STEEL MAGNATE
